Shortgame Schools, shortgame Golf Coaching and instruction

Short Game Schools at the Ridge

A proficient short game is the fastest way to reduce your handicap. Because nearly 70 percent of all golf shots are played within 100 metres of the green, if you want to lower your golf scores it's imperative for you to be effective in this area of the game.

Glenn and his good friend and also a highly regarded short game coach Kurt Stegbauer (AAA PGA Member) and former AIS Golf Scholarship holder will ensure you have a day on and around the greens that you will not forget in a hurry

Our Short Game Schools are a full day program that cover all aspects of your short game. We begin by assessing what you need to accomplish in putting, a variety of chip shots, bunker shots, and lob shots. Then Glenn and Kurt teach you how to take your short game to another level, you will leave with an individual development plan and practice program

During our Short Game Schools, You'll Learn:

  • What equipment is best for your short game
  • Key characteristics of all short game shots
  • Importance of any changes needed at address
  • Importance of hitting different trajectory shots
  • A clear understanding of the proper bounce for playing conditions
  • The drills you need to improve your skills

"I have been working with Glenn now for approximately 6 years. When we started I was playing off a 3 handicap at Pennant Hills GC in Sydney. Since then I have won over 10 national and international events and now live in Texas USA and am playing golf professionally full time. Glenn has had a huge influence on my swing and overall development of my game.

"I met Glenn at The Ridge Golf Course in Sydney in 2011. I started with a package of 5 lessons and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Glenn is very relaxed and encouraging, he genuinely wants to help you improve and makes you feel special"

Simone Newbie
(Beginner golfer)

"I first met Glenn when he was the Head Coach of The NSW Institute of Sport when I was on a Golf Scholarship, since turning pro I have worked closely with Glenn and my confidence and game is a reflection of Glenn's knowledge and passion"

Daki Falcon
(PGA Trainee, Cumberland GC)

"If Glenn can get me down to a 20 handicap, then he can do anything. I had several lessons with a number of coaches before i was referred to Glenn by a friend, but I felt like I was getting too much information but Glenn kept it simple and I improved, I highly recommend him to anyone"

Christine Martin
(20 handicap)

"I went to Glenn with a specific goal, to win the Club championships at Royal Sydney where I am a member, nearly 12 months to the day after meeting Glenn I won the championships which was very rewarding. I like a lot of Glenn's clients travel over an hour to see him, but I never regret taking the trip"

(Sratch hcp, Royal Sydney GC)
